Councillors are hereby summoned to attend

Agenda
Members of the public are invited and welcome to attend the whole meeting, except for items where their presence is prejudicial to the public interest, and are permitted to make representations to the Council, answer questions and give evidence (up to 3 mins per person/subject) in respect of any item of public business listed on the agenda during the public session, which is normally 15 minutes before the start of the meeting. The meeting may only consider the business on the agenda; the Agenda and Minutes for the Parish Council Meetings are available on the Parish Notice Board, or from the Clerk, or on the website, together with the schedule of future dates and the Public Participation in Meetings Procedure - see http://parishes.lincolnshire.gov.uk/NorthSomercotes. 20/12/21-3 Minutes of the 23rd November 2021 Meeting – to RESOLVE to adopt/sign the notes as accurate minutes.

a. Public Toilets Refurbishment – tender requirement ready to send out after Christmas
b. S106 Conisholme Rd – see 6a below
c. English Coastal Path/PROW FP28 – ECP consultation outcome still awaited
d. Cemetery – LBC form completed for submission, preparation for woodworm treatment under discussion, checking situation with ashes on the inside of GOR, Hedging – see 5 below
e. Amenity Stone – chased stonemasons again 13/12 for quote to repair
f. Woolpack Meadows – see 14 below
g. Youth Club – reminded again 13/12 re funds available
h. North Somercotes Footpath Leaflet – provided photos and text changes, circulated to councillors

20/12/21-5 Cemetery – to discuss and RESOLVE the way forward on various issues:
a. Options for type of hedging for rear boundary (South) with footpath and right-hand side boundary (West).
b. Box at gate for information – to discuss and decide whether to replace/repair existing
c. Additional Land purchase for future burials and interments – see 14 below

a. Enforcement Issues/Actions – i. S106 Conisholme Rd – to receive an update and RESOLVE the way forward.
b. Planning applications for approval:
i. N/132/02506/21 - Erection of a replacement dwelling with detached single garage and construction of a vehicular access. Sandy Nook, Willerton Rd
ii. N/132/02399/21 Outline development for 2 dwellings (layout and means of access to be considered). Albion House, Keeling St
c. Any other/urgent planning matters/applications:
20/12/21-7 Highways, Paths and Lighting – to discuss/RESOLVE the way forward on relevant Highways issues
a. verbal update on problem log:
i. Parking at Axe and Cleaver Crossroads – impact on visibility
ii. Pedestrian Footway marking/give way to oncoming traffic sign (from Keeling St) on Churchill Rd
iii. Any additional issues to be reported

20/12/21-13 Next Meeting – 24th January 2022 in St Mary’s Church Hall Keeling St (Pending any temporary future meeting arrangements that may need to be put in place for virtual meetings if government rules require it) - Clerk’s Appraisal, Finalising and approving the 22/23 Budget, land purchase for Cemetery extension.
20/12/21-14 Confidential Matters - to RESOLVE on whether the Council will move into closed session by reason of the confidential property matters to be transacted – if this Resolution is passed any members of the public/press will be required to leave the meeting at this point.
a. Cemetery – to discuss and RESOLVE the way forward on the purchase of additional land adjoining the Cemetery for future provision of land for burials and cremations and possible interim use for garden allotments.
b. Woolpack Meadows – to update on progress/actions being taken, and RESOLVE the way forward as required
