that a meeting of North Somercotes Parish Council is to be held on
Monday 28th June 2021 At 7.00 pm in the North Somercotes Village hall

Agenda
Members of the public are invited and welcome to attend the whole meeting, except for items where their presence is prejudicial to the public interest, and are permitted to make representations to the Council, answer questions and give evidence (up to 3 mins per person/subject) in respect of any item of public business listed on the agenda during the public session, which is normally 15 minutes before the start of the meeting. The meeting may only consider the business on the agenda; the Agenda and Minutes for the Parish Council Meetings are available on the Parish Notice Board, or from the Clerk, or on the website, together with the schedule of future dates and the Public Participation in Meetings Procedure - see http://parishes.lincolnshire.gov.uk/NorthSomercotes. a. Enforcement Issues/Actions – i. S106 Conisholme Rd, ii. Beachview Stud
b. Planning applications for approval:
i. N/132/00919/21 - Modification of Planning Obligation relating to Section 106 for planning application reference number N/132/00057/19 which relates to affordable housing requirements. LAND ADJACENT DAMAR, CONISHOLME ROAD – to RESOLVE to ratify the Council’s response to object to the proposed S106 agreement amendment to an off-site contribution towards affordable housing instead of building the agreed 2 properties.
ii. N/162/00834/21 - Erection of a detached holiday cottage (works completed). BEACHSIDE STUD, WARREN ROAD - to RESOLVE to ratify the Council’s response to object to the proposal to replace an old building without extant planning permission with a new replacement building
iii. N/132/00960/21 - Extension and alterations to the existing dwelling to provide a snug. ROSEDENE, FIELD LANE – to consider and RESOLVE whether to object or support the application
c. Planning Applications Approved – to note:
i. N/132/00610/21 - Extension to existing dwelling approved without workshop building - Granary Cottage, Keeling St
ii. N/132/00828/21 - Change of use/conversion/alterations to outbuilding to provide beauty salon. Wellyn Lodge, Marsh Lane

28/6/21-7 Cemetery
a. Proposed Agenda for the Annual Cemetery Meeting 17th July 2021 at 10 am
b. to review any proposed changes to Cemetery Rules & Regulations, and RESOLVE the way forward, including installation of Plaques in the GOR for persons or cremated remains not interred in north Somercotes Cemetery
28/6/21-8 Public Toilets Refurbishment – to consider the proposed options for remodelling (email refers) and RESOLVE the way forward.
28/6/21-9 Highways, Paths and Lighting – to discuss/RESOLVE the way forward on relevant Highways issues
a. verbal update on problem log – jetting of gulleys on Warren Rd
b. PROW FP28 – to note the removal of the Right of Way sign (which clearly stated ‘to the foreshore) and new replacement without this wording, and consider the continued prevention of historic access to and from the beach/foreshore from FP28 and the proposed diversion/alternative permissive route and RESOLVE the way forward
c. Spraying of grass verges/pavement by LCC – to request information from LCC on what is being sprayed
d. Coastal Path – to consider and RESOLVE the Council’s response to the proposals by the deadline of midnight on 7th July 2021.
e. Response from EA to Muntjac trapped in fence – to consider and RESOLVE the way forward
f. North Somercotes Footpath Leaflet – to consider and RESOLVE the way forward on any changes required to the leaflet; LCC to produce artwork, PA to arrange/pay for printing as required.
g. Proposals for the naming of the development on Conisholme Rd – to consider and RESOLVE the way forward on the proposal to call the road ‘Tulip Way’, and to also consider and RESOLVE the position on the proposal for planting of Tulips and Daffodils, including future maintenance implications, along the verge (email refers).
h. Any other urgent highways issues

28/6/21-15 Confidential Matters - to RESOLVE on whether the Council will move into closed session by reason of the confidential matters to be transacted – if this resolution is passed members of the public/press will be required to leave the meeting at this point.
