NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the next Meeting of North Somercotes Parish Council is to be held on Monday 24th October 2022 At 7pm  in St Mary’s Hall

Councillors are hereby summoned to attend.


Agenda

Members of the public are invited and welcome to attend the whole meeting, except for items where their presence is prejudicial to the public interest, and are permitted to make representations to the Council, answer questions and give evidence (up to 3 mins per person/subject) in respect of any item of public business listed on the agenda during the public session, which is normally 15 minutes before the start of the meeting.  The meeting may only consider the business on the agenda; the Agenda and Minutes for the Parish Council Meetings are available on the Parish Notice Board, or from the Clerk, or on the website, together with the schedule of future dates and the Public Participation in Meetings Procedure - see http://parishes.lincolnshire.gov.uk/NorthSomercotes. Cemetery –Shoring Equipment, Youth Club’s table, revarnishing pews, circular teak bench, quotes for Garden of Remembrance proposed works, proposal for trees to be removed on the boundary/replacements, 600 free trees/hedging secured for delivery March 2023, Garden of Remembrance – training rebooked for December, procurement of Cemetery database, entry of records and mapping of plots, hedge lowering outstanding

k. Toilets refurbishment/CCTV – proposals for basic refurbishment of the disabled section to be completed

m. Planters and Litter bins – Coastal destination bid monies , plus in 23/24 budget

o. Donna Nook Management responsibility – new contact established

24/10/22-5 Remembrance Observance – Sunday 13th November – to discuss traffic and other arrangements and RESOLVE the way forward as required

iii. N/132/02644/21 - Outline erection of 3no. dwellings with access to be included. TREE TOPS, MARSH LANE – Appeal Lodged

a)   to receive and note the bank reconciliations for October 2022

b)   to receive and RESOLVE to approve the schedule of income and expenditure for October 2022

c)   to discuss and RESOLVE the way forward on purchase of a Christmas Tree for the village £TBC

d)   to agree the expenditure of c£420 for additional work to lower the cemetery hedge by c.2ft and remove brash

e)   to deal with any urgent Financial matters

24/10/22-10 To discuss and RESOLVE the way forward on the possibility of setting up a Good Neighbours Scheme/weekly Warm Space venue to be run by volunteers

24/10/22-11  Budget Setting 23/24 – to discuss and RESOLVE the way forward on next year’s budget priorities
