North Somercotes Bowls Club celebrated our 60th Anniversary in 2021. We are a small and friendly club with, at the time of writing, about 40 members. As well as having numerous internal competitions, we also play in three local leagues. Members can play competitively or just socially.
We try to keep membership as low as possible and to promote a sense of community. Lawn bowls is a great activity for physical and mental exercise and we try to provide lots of friendly social opportunities. We are a magnet for the surrounding villages as well as North Somercotes residents. We always welcome new members and help them by lending equipment and providing tuition.
